WOW is a non-profit organization formed to help single moms and their children in difficult life situations.  Some examples of these are: domestic violence, teen motherhood, job displacement, economic disadvantage, the working poor syndrome, child care issues, continuing education challenges, and other situations that undermine a single mother’s ability to support their children.

WOW encourages and educates women to empower themselves and take ownership of their life’s direction. WOW is open to any single mother regardless of their income, race, creed, nationality or disability.

We assist and network with other organizations with similar mission statements to maximize our efforts to help moms and their children that need a helping hand.

Our programs are dependent upon our resources but have included but are not limited to; a yearly educational scholarship for single mothers to further their education including non-traditional occupations such as massage therapy and cosmetology courses. An informative newsletter distributed nationwide via our website. A “free” career clothing source for single mothers and their children when clothing is available. We conduct and support educational activities for single mothers wishing to educate themselves on various subjects that will help themselves and their children.
